We also did marble polishing around the tub. It sure stands out as clean and sharp! Seems to look darker, fuller and richer too. Especially compared to the marble floor tile, which we did not polish.

Since marble is a soft natural stone then it is prone to scratches and stains. It’s a porous stone so anything overly alkaline or acidic can damage it. Additionally, marble is known for dulling over time with wear.
